Well… it’s been a while since I posted. Life seems to be getting in the way! Maybe that’s a good thing though.
This is Claire. She’s the niece of our very best friends and she’s a DOLL! I just love photographing her. Did I mention she’s a total ham too? I took one of her at Brad and Anna’s wedding and this new one is from the baby shower.
I took this picture of my paternal grandfather in 2004. It was a cold and very nasty day but, we made the most of it. I’ve always been very close to that side of my family and I was so proud of this photo. I have brought it back now because I think it’s very indicative of what I am and what I do. It’s not touched up at all other than my (work-in-progress) logo and border. It’s simple and clean and just a little dark. I hope you like it.
I’ve been working on some new photos of the MIC (that’s my step-daughter). She’s Gorgeous so it’s pretty easy to get a good shot, if you can get her to wipe that fake smile off her face. I usually like to distract her and this flower was my bestest friend for about 30 seconds…that’s how long it took her to destroy it!
Life has really gotten in the way of work…I guess it’s a good thing that I still have that 9-5 holding me up/back. I did make time tonight (with the help of my fantastic husband) to work on an art piece. It’s a tree behind my parents house. I love old, gnarled trees…and the lighting was almost perfect…this was an amazingly simple photo.
